It was built for the railway. The main features are the huge triangular cantilever supports. There are two legs, on a masonry pier, jutting forward and upward. These legs measure 6 feet 7 inches by 4 feet 6 inches. The bridge used 2.600 tons of steel and the workforce averaged two hundred men. [1, 8]
