Single span bridge with pronounced hump, and long parapetted approach. Rubble, dressed rubble segmental arch ring and parapet cope. An "excellent road", was begun in 1792 and nearly finished by 1794, built by government from Dingwall to Ullapool at cost of $4,500. (Much deteriorated by 1835) Inverlael Bridge is now by-passed by re-aligned A835 road; before this the approaches had been flattened. The width between parapets is 4,2 m.
