Culloden Viaduct is 1,800 feet long and has 28 spans all of 50 feet except the central one is 100 feet. They are bold and simple, remarkably free of decoration. The piers taper upwards and the semicircles are set neatly on them. It is built of bull faced red dressed rubble with tooled ashlar voussoirs and parapets. [1]
