Comments :
It is painted red, an iron bridge with large I-shaped girders spanning 80 feet. These are set into stone abutments and supported on a pair of cast iron columns. The column piers are tied by a cross girder to three small iron girders under the vaulted deck. These were almost certainly added at a later date to take the increased load the bridge had to carry before being taken out of use. [1]
