Bridge over River Dulnain, Dulnain Bridge

It is a handsome bridge of tooled granite with ashlar voussoirs which are hard to see because of the way it has been widened. The parapet was removed and rebuilt on a widened deck which is supported on cast iron joists. The almost continuous traffic of heavy lorries passing over the bridge in summer makes one wonder how long it can endure, considering Mitchell designed it for horses, carts and carriages. [1, 10]
