Comments :
At first it appears pleasing with its two elliptical arches and low, graceful lines. However, if you park on the north side and have a closer look, you will see that the parts do not sit easily together. The tongue-like voussoirs with pointed top edges seem at odds with the gentle arch curve, and they are cut off at the top by a rounded string course that is in a different style. The string course in turn upholds a kerb that supports the railings. There is a mixture of stone colours and a mixture of tooling. [1]
