It is a highly ornamental three span iron girder bridge and a surprise in the quiet landscape of this wide valley where the river loops through the gravel beds. The bridge is an iron truss with 62 inches high ornamental sides and arched entrances, one inscribed Victoria's reign, and the present one in Edward VII's; the railing is from the first bridge. [1]
