The segmental arches have triangular cutwaters and are built of very unevenly sized stones, tufted now with grass. The bridge of Williams has curious faced arch rings which extend into the piers and abutments and form pointed cutwaters, somewhat like a boat's keel or the snub bow of a submarine. [1]
