Probably 18th century. Single span segmental-arched hump-back bridge over Leacainn River. Random rubble; rubble arch ring and coping; splayed wing walls. Parapet repaired in places. The bridge of Leacainn River was supposedly commissioned by Clerk of Braleckan (cousin to Sir John Clerk of Penicuik) to take traffic over the river from the drove road of Loch Aweside to Loch Fyneside. A bridge over Leacainn River is shown this site on Roy's map of circa 1750 (see above). [HS] The width is 3,5 m and 3,0 m over river.
